OFFICIAL CHANGE 2 TO THE CADET FIELD MANUAL

1.   This change is to clarify drill and uniform standards delineated in the Cadet Field Manual

2. Make the changes:

2.1. Make cut and paste change to page 1-37, para 5 to reflect proper aiguillette placement.

5. Aiguillettes may be awarded as earned for
   various academic and military achievements,
and may be worn only on the Service Dress
Blue, Winter Blue and Summer Blue uniforms.
Aiguillettes awarded by the naval science
instructor for such things as color guard,
drill team, academic team and the like,
will be worn only on the left shoulder.
   Only the Leadership Academy aiguillette
will be worn on the right shoulder. no more
than one aiguillette may be worn on each
shoulder. Aiguillettes will be attached to
the appropriate shoulder by either a gold
coat button on the Service Dress Blue
uniform, or a miniature  anchor (garrison
cap) on the Winter Blue and Summer Blue
uniforms. The button or anchor shall be
placed so that the entire aiguillette will
be secured to the coat or shirt so that the
aiguillette hangs on the shoulder parallel
to the seam of the coat or shirt.
Aiguillettes are not authorized for wear
on the peacoat, all-weather jacket, Winter
Working Blue and Working Khaki uniforms.

                                   1-37 (chg 2)

Note:  For the female Summer White Shirt, the anchor shall be placed under the epilate as shown on page 1-38.  This procedure will allow
